Hello. I upgraded bcd325p2 with nxdn and am not receiving anything. They're 2 very strong systems in the area, shows signel ,just not receiving anything.
So is there something am missing,is there away to reenter the key code?

Mobiletech NXDN ,might have figured why. When I look at the database it shows the LCN number, when I d/l it to software it's not shown.

If you used AT its only for analog scanner 125-AT, arc-XT works with the 396xt and 325 P2 scanners, which are digital

In addition it must be programmed as an nxdn trunking system with the correct LCN's, if u used Arc-AT to do it, it wouldn't have installed the trunking systems as nxdn

I'm here a lot
Looking over the CH ID's in the database, the six sites in Monroe are listed as zero. Click on the site name below to verify.

026 (1A)FairportMonroe, NY150.965c151.580c153.4625153.5525c
074 (4A)BrockportMonroe, NY150.8975c153.0425c153.560c
075 (4B)Honeoye FallsMonroe, NY150.890c153.3875c153.4775c
077 (4D)PenfieldMonroe, NY151.850c153.230c153.425c
079 (4F)GreeceMonroe, NY150.980c151.730c153.0275c
090 (5A)HenriettaMonroe, NY150.8525c153.455c153.545

Therein lies the problem. Maybe someone with DSD+ can help with the Channel numbers for your NXDN LCN's.

Or if someone has a 436hp/536hp or a sds100/200 they can use LCN analyzer/finder on that scanner, or yes dsdplus will do it too

Butel arc-XT is for the 325, not the AT

That's the issue sir,as I posted, lcn are listed, but when d/l to Arc-xt as you were so polite in stating my typing error, the lcns aren't there.

U will need to find a way to retrieve the lcns then either by dsdplus or a bcd436hp or 536hp, or an sds100/200

Some NXDN system transmit the channel numbers and bandplan similar to P25. I don't know how popular that is as an option for the system managers.

DSDPlus might help with determining the Channel Numbers, but a scanner probably won't.

NXDN trunking system Channel Numbers are based on the assumption that the frequencies are UHF. UHF-T, VHF, and the are 800/900 NXDN trunks use custom Channel Numbering as determined by the System Administrator.

There are two NXDN VHF sites in Rhode Island and they both use custom Channel Numbering.

U will need to find a way to retrieve the lcns then either by dsdplus or a bcd436hp or 536hp, or an sds100/200

Let me pump the brakes on the LCN/CH ID discussion, because you're all headed down a rabbit hole.

This is a NEXEDGE 4800 system that uses DFA (Direct Frequency Assignment). That means that the control channel supplies the information for subscribers (and scanners) to calculate the traffic channel frequencies, similar to a P25 band plan.

The CH ID's in the RRDB must all be set to 0 in order for these systems to track properly with a Uniden scanner. We've been through this many times over the years, the database is correct as-is.

Thats a different suggestion, I have a nxdn4800 system here that I can get the LCNs just fine that way, if nxdn system doesn't have an LCN programmed it won't follow it very well if at all. OP isn't able to hear anything on the system despite it being a strong signal, is there another way to determine either the problem of not hearing the system or determining the LCN he needs? Or is there another solution? I've not encountered this route before.. the nxdn systems I have here the scanner or dsdplus finds the lcn on both nxdn 48 and nxdn96

Re-read my post. This system does not require, nor will it scan correctly, with LCN/CH ID entered into the scanner. The scanner obtains the traffic channel frequencies from the control channel. In fact, if you try to run LCN Finder on this system, it actually tells you to exit LCN Finder because it's a DFA system (doesn't apply to the OP's model scanner, but to other Uniden scanners with that feature).

Not all NXDN systems are DFA, and so this only applies to those which are, such as Mobiletech.
