BCD325P2 usb connection with virtual box

My cable driver is active in the xp and win 7 vm’s no problem but ARCXT and Freescan cannot communicate with the radio . I tried the firmware update app (on win 7) to test and it also cannot connect. It’s early on as the radio just arrived today so there is more testing to be done and trying different virtual box settings.

The cable itself is fine, using it daily with the 436hp in sentinal / win xp.

Is there a diagnostic test the usb port on the 325 ?

Thanks it’s up and running! I’ve been running sentinel with the 436 so I had a Uniden driver but I replaced it with the one you linked and I also turned of FIFO buffering in the port settings.

Glad to hear you got it working. The driver and ARC-XT also work with the BCD996P2. I use ARC-XT for my BCD325P2 and BCD996P2. Here is a PDF file that will answer all of your questions about using quick keys with your new scanner:
