BCD396T help

Hi I just bought a BCD396T. While I am getting systems in without issues, I am having issues with scanning management. With scanners like the RS Pro97 you can switch the bank on/off that you want to listen to, it doesn't seem like you can do that here and I was wondering if there was a way to do that similarly, turning systems on/off with hot keys. I also noticed that the scanning is very slow. It will scan the NJSP for 3 seconds, then my hometown PD for another 3 seconds, and so forth. Maybe I have the systems set up wrong?

Nah, just some adjusting is needed. Check your hold and delay functions. A lot of folks set these values as 0 and 2 seconds respectively. The Easier to Read manual has a good description of these parms (see the Edit Systems Options Menu section)

As to turning banks on and off, you had the right idea when you mentioned hot keys - except here, it would be quick keys. 73 Mike
