I thought it would be good to have a discussion on tips/tricks related to the BCD396T Uniden Advanced Scanner Director software. I was going to buy the ScannerMaster software but am too cheap to spend the money when this software does it for free.
I painstaking built all of my county's talk groups using excel and textpad as doing it via the GUI would have been too slow. Now that they're in there I am wonder what other options, features, or settings might be cool to use with the UASD software. Or maybe some tricks to managing/updating the configuration or system files. Editing the raw text seems to be the fastest way when you initially get your scanner up and running.
