Someone on this forum probably designed this and put it on Thingiverse. Many thanks to that person. It is PERFECT!
I am going to have both the SDS100 and BCD436 printed up. Tired of having radios fall over all the time. Tech at work as a really nice printer so it doesnt take 8 hours per stand as the original printer said it would be...

Just curious what printer you have access to. I have a Prusa Mk3 and while there are certainly ways to speed up the print this 436 stand took me about 7 1/2 hours. That was with 15% infill, and .2 resolution.

If there is a faster 3D printer out there that isn't industrial.........I want one!

I dont have a printer but my tech does. Its a Flashforge creator pro. But he is currently looking to get a Voron 2.4 ...definitely out of my league. His printer should have the stand done for me in 6:50.

Had a cohort at work make me up the BCD436 and SDS100 on his home printer.
The SDS has a little more forward weight to it so sometimes it will lean straight up. I will probably need to core out the backside a little to insert some counterweight so it cant tilt forward. Or just velcro or double sided tape will do the trick too. But harder to relocate in a pinch

Speaking of fast. Does anyone know how the Prusa i3 MK3S ranks in the speed department compared to other consumer models? I've been toying with the idea of getting one, but have not quite been able to make up my mind enough to click the buy button. Well, that and the old dog new tricks situation. :( This one comes pre assembled and apparently walks one through the initial setup process.

At first I'd simply like to download the STL's, then later learn to design my own stuff. From what I gather this one is the easiest and least troublesome to operate.

The Voron looks nice, but it's way out of my league as a 3D printer virgin! :p

Here is the link to my earlier post. I am attaching the .stl file in a .zip.
