I have my BCT15X Spk port connected with mono to left side line in on my sound card and it sounds great.
I have the BCD006P2 Spk port connected to the right side line in to the same card, the audio from the 996 is very low. I have to crank the volume up to 29 and back the bass response way down.
Is there any internal menu setting for the 996 to push up the output levels?
Just wondering.

I would wiggle the earphone/plug around to see if there is a bad connection.

Also, whether you are using a mono or stereo plug may matter. (Use stereo)

My 996P2 sounds great.

There's also a volume offset. It only boosts it a little.

Give it a shot:

All the UNI's use a stereo jack... But only the left channel is connected...
