Just got a BCD996P2. Having an odd issue where the tone does not display, and I do not think the scanner is abiding by the set tone either. I of course went to set audio type in settings for the channel and set everything accordingly with no luck. I am in display mode 2 and have checked the other display modes and that has not resolved the issue. If I do a frequency search I do see tone blinking, so not exactly sure what’s going on.
