BCD396XT/BCD996XT: Bcd996xt Baud Rate question

Im programming a Uniden bcd996xt with Proscan and the scanner will only communicate with a baud rate of 9600. Normally all my other uniden scanners including other 996xt's use a baud rate of 115200. Is there an issue with the scanner or can you change the baud rate on the scanner? Not really sure why its using the 9600 rate.

just figured out how to change it. Why was it at 9600 any ideas?
