I am trying to program the EMS/Fire freq in and I forgot what system to use. The programming software that I use is FreeScan. I know you can listen to the freqs because they are on Broadcastify. Can someone help and tell me what system to use?

Click on the database, click on SC. Click on Beaufort county. It will tell you what system to use.

Are you importing directly from RR? If so, when you click on the P25 system, in FreeScan, does it show P25 Standard (Digitall XT) in the window labeled Site Type?

EMS Dispatch/Ops and many of the County FD Ops talkgroups are encrypted in Beaufort County. Fire Dispatch, HHI Fire Rescue and EMS transmissions to hospital ERs are in the clear. All Law Enforcement talkgroups are also encrypted except for Highway Patrol, which is on the Palmetto 800 system.
