Every time I power my scanner on the News, Custom and Public Safety starts scanning automatically and I can’t figure out why. I need to temp L/O each time I turn on and I never listen to these stations. Would someone kindly let me know how to turn them off for good and how did I turn them on.

Do a permanent L/O instead of temp L/O and they won't come back to life after the power cycle.
