Hi everyone. I just found your site and I thought I would post a problem I am having to see if anyone out there knows what I need to look for to get my scanner to work again.
As in the title it is a Bearcat Twin Turbo BC-120XL and it works fine with a charged battery but will not power on with an AC adapter. I am using an AD-70U power adapter. Is there something wrong that would make it work with the batteries but not the AC power plug. I checked the prongs and they are intact. I also used a meter and it is getting power though the plug socket. The adapter charges batteries fine. Any ideas what to look for?
