this may not be i right place and i apologize. i just bout a mac,why id i do this i have no idea... i need a program to set up my scanner. i have butel software pro for it but doesnt work on mac. any programs out there to run it? and or any other programs out here i can buy for mac? please respond directly to robertinnj@aol.com thanks

Buy Windows and install it under Boot Camp. You have the best of both worlds my friend. You're not stuck running just Windows or Linux anymore.

Easier (and cheaper) said than done.

I have bought my first and last Mac, that is for sure. Nothing but trouble.

No trouble at all. You just install Windows under Boot Camp. Piece of cake. I was up and running Windows in less than a half hour. Hold down the Option key while booting and you're in Windows.
