Ok thanks for the input.
I am at his house now. To anybody that knows the area he is located about 1km from hwy 37.

I have tried a few of these frequencies with no luck yet.

He has a uniden BC72XLT scanner. If that helps. I have an old radio shack handheld and it seems easier to navagate.

I do not know much about these things as mine never leaves the 413.537 opp frequency.

If anyone knows of a frequency that works for sure in this area please let me know. I appreiciate all of the freq.s that everyone has inputed but I just need one that for sure works.

I am not trying to be rude just the less confusion the better.

Thanks in advance for anyhelp that can be givin.

I can confirm that all the frequencies listed here do in fact work. Hastings County, Ontario (ON) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference I submitted majority of it when I lived there for the last year and a half.

Unless you have a digital scanner, the only thing you won't be able to listen to is the P25/ENC stuff everything else you will be able to hear.

A few others that you may also want to look at are the following:
Ministry of Health Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Ministry of Natural Resources Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Ministry of Transportation Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference except the Legacy frequencies
Ontario Provincial Police Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

I'm sorry, I had to pull the stream offline for the region as I'm sure it would've been greatly appreciated by your father-inlaw but like I said, I moved. Was hoping someone else however though would've brought the Quinte region back online as it was quite a busy region.

Ok thanks for the input.

I'm living in Tuckers corners just up Wallbridge Rd n/of the 401, i get the CFB chatter pretty good, he could listen to 128.400 and 128.700 and should hear the aircraft coming in on Runway 24. If he got a Uniden 396T or BCD996T he would receive ALOT of good stuff.
PM me for more info if required.

Along highway 37 south of Tweed, you shouldn't have any issues, so it maybe the BC72XLT. They are a little deaf, specially with the stock rubber ducky after they started showing their age. :) I think it has been about 6 years since their release. I had one a while back and I was lucky to pick anything up further then 10 km unless they were high power, without an external antenna.

The other problem was the antenna connection to the board. They had a issue with the solder. Most of those models did. I had to re-solder mine after 3 months. Same thing happen with my 246T.

Out that way I use CFB Trenton's VHF ATIS or Belleville's weatheradio channel as a test. the VHF ATIS i can usually hit at Brighton to the west and Shannonville to the East. The Belleville PS channels should be very strong at Corbyville, specially channel 2.
