Best Icom R8500 Software?

So folks, what is the best control software out there for the Icom R8500? My primary focus is using it to monitor UTE communications.

Suggestions welcome - and I'd prefer to stay with free software if at all possible.

I would start with the WUN group on qth.net As they are dedicated UTE folks, I have no doubt that some of them use the 8500 (and I'll even venture a guess that at least some use Bob Parnass' tk8500 program or Ham Radio Deluxe, both of which are free).
