For F-connectors.. crimp style, or compression?

What kind of wire and connectors is it that cable companies use at the customers house?

Thanks for any info.

Compression is the best and T&B Snap N Seal is probably the best quality connector. Cable companies use RG6 and Commscope is probably the most common brand.

Yeah, I haven't seen any cable or satellite provider using a crimp connector in several years now. Everybody uses compression fittings nowadays, and yes, they do usually provide a better connexion and hold better. They aren't as likely to pop off as the old crimp connectors. Although, variations in technique can result in both good crimp connexions and poor compression connexions.
