Best Uniden XT P25 settings for RCS decoding

Anyone figure out the optimum P25 threshold and level settings for the RCS system? I have a hard time determining these because no matter where I test, I can't get better than 20-60 ERR rate at full signal strength. Seems to like 12-13 threshold, setting 5-8 seems to raise the ERR rate.

Would like to know what a good level setting would be for driving around, as you get more of a variance in RSSI signal strength when moving.
