I have 136.2750 just labelled as "Homeland Security " (according to a list
I got off of Radio Reference) just popped. I saw Blackhawks in Cape May
earlier this afternoon. Wondering if they're doing training or something.
Used to training out of Atlantic City on UHF and some VHF, never had this
frequency pop
Terry did you hear anything

I am hope in PA for a few days. Will be back sometime Friday. That freq might be the Ops channel for the airborne units and their base on Long Island. Would have to check my notes.

Great snag Jaymatt. I have had that frequency programmed in my scanner for years tagged as "FBI/DEA Chopper" due to some past thread on here, but still marked as unconfirmed. I just threw it in my Atl City bank also to see what I can hear next time I am there.

Oops I goofed if's 136.7250 sorry my mistake. It's a national frequency N2ZGE so you might get them up there. ALSO it would be a good frequency for FLEET WEEK. I labelled it is DHS (Dept of Homeland Security) which the FBI and DEA both fall under. I snagged another one but haven't confirmed it yet!! I'm curious if yo u program your scanner via computer and if you do is there a two export into an Excel spreadsht. I just wan't to compare notes!

Interesting. Are you sure you goofed because 136.275 would make more sense? I have seen that listed a few times as a DOJ chopper frequency. However, when doing searches for 136.725, all I come up with is a thread from 2008 indicating it was a "SAM Interplane" frequency (whatever that is) used during a Presidential visit. See past thread. https://forums.radioreference.com/threads/presidential-visits.53713/page-2

Let me know if you hear anything else on 136.725.

No, I do not program my scanner via the computer. I only own an analog BC125 now, so I just input frequencies manually. The only MIL-AIR frequencies I picked up down there so far are 140.100 and 327.125.

Yeah I doubled checked and it is 136.7250 not personally confirmed, but it's on multiple lists I trust. The VHF airband goes from 108 (118 for voice)- 136.9750 or 136.9875 depending on where your scanner eds. I would also program 385.5000 which the other UHF approach/Departure frequency, I don't know which one is more active

Perhaps just program in the following and see what you are able to hear.

136.275
136.375
136.475
136.525
