I have a BC250D scanner and listen to the Bell Fleetnet system, can someone tell me why I keep getting these bogus id’s come up 7xxxxx series and all you hear is the control channel noise and the scanner locks onto this and stops scanning, is there a way to get the BC250D to stop doing this. It seems to get worse when the are doing maintenance on the system. ????

I'm here a lot
Instead of an open search, could you search or scan closed groups that you have programmed, until maintenance is over?

Steve, one thing I want to ask you is:
Have you heard any correctional facility radio traffic on the Maxtel Wireless MPT-1327 system down your way?
I briefly heard guards declaring a zone secure. I remember you posting these freq's a while back.
