Got myself a DV4Mini, and been having fun with DMRplus on it. Very good pairing with the inexpensive Tytera MD-380. However, when i went to the beta software (DV4MF2) which supports Brandmaster (BrandMeister?) I ran into a really weird situation. I can TX and RX just fine on the DMR+, but when I try to TX on BrandMaster, it never comes through, and doesn't show on the last heard lists. I've tried TG 4000, 4999 routed to the Parrot TG's, and 4639. None of them work. DV4 software shows I'm transmitting and its being received.

I feel like I'm missing something, or that I need to sign up or authorize somewhere to get it to work. Again, with the radio configured for CC1, TG9, TS2, I can do DMR+ all day long no problems. Its just the BrandMaster on DV4MF2.

I'm having a slightly different problem. No problems with the older software and DMR+. When I run DV4MF2, the software never finds my DV4Mini. I even tried the suggestion of putting in the static IP of 127.0.0.1 with no luck.

Are you using Windows or Raspberry Pi?

I figured out my issue. The DV4MF2 doesn't like the newer Wireless Holdings version of dv_serial. Went back to a slightly older beta from dv4m site and it worked. Had a QSO this morning from Fargo to California.
