Thanks. I had found the frequencies already. With a DMR HT, would i be able to monitor these frequencies without knowing the Cc and timeslot?

Short answer yes, the way i see the license this is a 4 pair for repeater, one simplex, one analog 3 digital,
so potentially 16 channels, ie Lifts, Maintnenace, Ski Patrol, Groomers, etc, with a scanner you could put in all the frequencies:
451.7125 Ana
454.0625 DMR
461.0875 D
462.8375 D
453.5125 Ana Sim
and than figure out the system, if there are neighbouring systems if not in digital mode with colour code you could potentially hear them depending on proximity. Happy listening.

Tx/Rx RX
Frequency [MHz] 173.3700
Frequency Record Identifier 0000492106
Regulatory Service 1
Communication Type S
Conformity to Frequency Plan A
Frequency Allocation Name LM_CAN_VHF_BLOCK_J_SIMPLEX_30K
Channel A1041
if u mean "A1041" that is what IC uses to reflect the frequency numerator, or what channel it is part of reference the ITU, I believe,
some one else chime in , but it does not effect how you listen on a radio.

Thanks for the info guys!
moving forward, my best bet would be to program each DMR frequency above to include a RX Group of each color code for each time slot. So for one digital frequency, 16 color codes exist with each having 2 timeslots, so the RX group in my radio would have to have 32 different channels. I would also have to have promiscuous mode enabled to monitor and disregard any talk groups that they are using.

Is this the proper technique?

thanks!

You can't trust TAFL to be up to date and accurate; some investigation is in order. I'd start with 454.0625, 461.0875 and 462.8375 which are grouped and look like a system:

https://tafl.mckie.ca/?query=VXA572&prov=QC

It could be Capacity Plus which has no CC, only a Rest channel which moves around. It is a short burst every 2s.

You also need to identify CC and TGs. As you would be trying to monitor a tier 3 system with a tier 2 radio, you need to set up every possible combination of TG/timeslot/frequency with the correct CC, and scan it.

Somebody should run DSD+, it is free and tells a lot.
