Looks like your ini file is missing the [IDEN] section.
It will not work without that info.
Run "learn" to gather the info from the system to config correctly.
It may take a few times running the learn to collect all the iden info.

Middlesex County uses a Harris APCO p25 system, not Motorola. Loading the system again from control channel 769.54375, and running ' learn ' 3 times, does NOT generate any [ IDEN ] section.

I am using SDRTrunk with 2 RTL-SDR dongles. I am in Old Bridge, and have plenty of signal strength. Middlesex County has 2 sets of frequencies in the 700mhz and 850mhz regions. There is only one active control channel on 769.54375. Reception is fine until there is some traffic on the 850 channels. Then I get garbled or no audio. I can use some advice on setting up this system. I also have a BlueTail Nano, and it DOES handle Middlesex just fine.
Looks like your Nano worked on the Middlesex system by your post above. Do you have an older saved ini with the iden section? Any idea on what changed?

The Nano DOES work on Harris and Moto. I have 6 systems in my Nano, 3 moto and 3 Harris.

You could try a nano factory reset, clearing the flash memory. Then re-add the p25 known control channel again to gather the iden info. Of course, a good rx signal is needed.

Learn is the only way to collect the all iden info. It may take muliple learn runs to complete the config. Learn is the solution to the missing IDEN section. When learn is run, the Wio display will show the progress of saving the channel info, etc. It only runs for 30 secs. Depending on the system it can take multiple learns. There is no other method to create the iden section.

Did the Nano work for you as you posted in 2024, or not????

The iden section is needed BEFORE adding/importing TG info into the Micro and Nano radios. Adding the TG info without the iden section will not correct the issue as there is no RF channel mapping info in the config.

As noted, the Learn process with a solid rssi active control channel is the only solution for the missing iden section. The Wio display will show if the config is complete or incomplete at the end of the each learn process.

Well, it took almost an hour, but I finally learned all data ( and I am in Old Bridge, only 1 mile from two of the sites! ). Should scan mode be 1 or 0? Perhaps you can share your setup.
