BULL SHOALS LAKE IN MARION COUNTY HAS SURPASSED IT'S FLOOD STAGE! WATER IS NOW POURING OVER THE FLOOD GATES AS THE WATER HAS REACHED OVER THEM! THE LEVEL WAS 695.03 FEET, FLOOD STAGE IS 695.0!
Bull Shoals Lake has surpassed its top flood pool level of 695 feet, according to an Army Corps of Engineers web site.
The 9 a.m. reading showed Bull Shoals at a level of 695.03 feet.The lake is expected to be at or near its crest, officials have said. Meanwhile, the level on Norfork Lake continues to drop slowly. Norfork's level was 579.09 this morning, down from a record 582.30 last week. The top flood pool at Norfork is 580 feet, anyone downstream of bull shoals is URGED to evacuate IMMEDIATELY...This is out of the hands of the Corps! Water has reached it's max! It's going somewhere whether we like or not folks! Be READY! Be PREPARED! EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!
