Does anyone know if the Burlington County Dispatch frequency 154.22 currently simulcasts all dispatches from all transmitter sites? I'm noticing that on my SDS100 (which isn't much good for VHF anyway but it's my primary scanner on Burlington County) and my GRE PSR-800 one dispatch will come in quite clear and the next is barely copyable or sometimes not copyable. The dispatches for Medford and Evesham (I could practically walk there) are the weakest and dispatches for the other end of the county (say around Wrightstown or Bordentown) seem to always come in clear. I don't get it.

I just checked the FCC site, the county has licensed 154.22 on the new added sites. If those are up and running there may be synchronizing issues.

That's interesting you mention that. I've noticed more issues since the time the new system control channels came online. It also makes sense that whenever I would hear "Station 15 tone test" on F-1 there would be an encrypted transmission on the new system coinciding with the transmission on F-1.

Hi! Been scanning (w/ the old analogs) since the 70's but not for maybe the past 15years. So now I've decided to get me this BCD996P2. and listen in on Fire & PD again. I've downloaded everything in there for police & EMS, trunk andthe old analog fire freq for dispatching, but I'm trying to figure out where the fire truck transmissions come in. Specially for the N & NC Burlington County region.

Assuming you have the Burlington County 500MHz smart zone trunking system in your scanner.

North response 1 and North Central response 1 under the FD talk groups would be the channels you want to hear.

good thing you got the 996P2, you will be ready for the new radio system for Burl Co, should be anytime after the pandemic resolves
