Oh, wow. So Cinnaminson has their own TGID on the NW TRS now? Hmm, how about Maple Shade, Moorestown, and Mt. Laurel?

Hi Policefreak,

Every police department has their own talkgroup on the county system, some have chosen not to use them just yet.

Not to plug my Philly guide but it details virtually all of the talkgroups for Burlington County as well as other systems in the area.

OK, lets get a few things straight:

BurlCo's system is made up of 8 separate zones, 6 of which (I believe) are fully on-line.

#1 - Each zone has it's own set of 500 MHz frequencies all to it's own. All three of the base & offset pairs must be programmed, or you will miss transmissions.
#2 - Every zone has it's own set of talkgroups - Response 1 on North is NOT the same as it is for West, North-Central, etc...
#3 - Units in receiving range of more than one zone will be picked up and transmitted across all of those zones as well. It's not unusual to hear Florence Twp. PD units come across their TGID from the North zone on North-Central and Northwest simultaneously...

The system has a MASSIVE amount of talkgroups, and it's quite easy to get confused. I've already found out with my 396 that's it's impossible to program every zone + the ones that border them without violating the 'MAX-200' TGID's per system.

This system should have every one of it's zones set up as a separate system in your scanner. If you try and put every known CC from this system into one bank, you're going to be for a headache... :D

Ray, what scanner are you using? I've owned both my 396, the Pro-96, and the Pro-2096. If it's one of those, I can get you set out on the right track...

Its UHF!!

Also if you are using a 396 or a 996 you want to make sure that you set the Burlington Co. systems as a UHF systems, not P25 or anything else.

HEy Guys thx for the Help. The Zone Im looking for is the One the Who Dispatched Bass River Twp. I Do first aid along with M.A there for Fire Calls N like to get a heads up on when they get Hit out. I just dont know which Zone they r out of. Im guessing South since there r the lowest Burlington Co Town? Im using the pro 2096.m The only one that is working for me is the 501.6500 Freq But Like I said its just hitting on the ch but not getting anything out of it.

That would be the south zone. You need only these two freq to make it trunk with the 2096

500.800
501.650

You DO need to have all 3 of the base & offset tables for this system programmed as well, and if you don't have Don Starr's Win96 software, it's not going to happen (it's physically impossible to put more than 1 base & offset table in a 96/2096 through the keypad).

If you need more help, don't hesitate to ask...
