• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Hi All,

I just ran an ID search w/ my BC796D on the Burlington County TRS
and came up with 30 TG ID's. There were also about 50 I-Call ID's
in there. I have NO idea what any of the TG's are but will be
working on it.

You're getting images of TG ID's. The only ones I have heard active are 16112 and 16848. You'll also get I-calls from this. There is still no plan as to when the rest of the county is going to switch over. Right now all transmissions are going on all the sites to show activity so the FCC doesn't revoke their licenses for non use.
