SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police have confirmed that Target in the University Mall received a bomb threat Saturday afternoon.
The Mall was evacuated and closed around 2:30 p.m. so crews could investigate the building. It was reopened just after 3:00 p.m..
While the evacuation is over, traffic in the area continues to be an issue, due to the increased number of people doing their final shopping before Christmas.
A Target in Raleigh, North Carolina was also evacuated Saturday after it received a bomb threat.
