Forgive me if I'm posting in wrong area I was looking at taverns but since it's general about scanning and not particular model of scanning I figured I'd post here. If wrong I know WayneH will move and scold so I appoligize upfront. I searched but didn't find a general list of what business used what mostly mix and matched. Is there a compiled list by anyone of what each business uses like a band plan at its retailers or stores? I know wal marts lineups but how about these chains, stores, retailers,

Home Depot
Chili's
Apple bees
buffalo wild wings
staples
kmart
Lowes hardware
Albertsons
IHOP
tgi Fridays
Dennys
hastings book music video/hardback cafe

Few on mind but has anyone made or have a compiled list of what is actually used? Just as wal mart has a national store for most part national plan minus a few exceptions using opposite or freq hop in the 900 mhz. Figured I'd ask to see. I plan on hitting these places in a few cities this summer but wanted to see who has a list Already besides common ig business freqs? I began to find it interesting near these sort of places to scan. Seems as interesting as fire and ems scanning. To me anyway.

Oh in the way west texas region, new mexico, Arizona if needed a general location. Mainly near El paso texas and las cruces nm.

Relevant or not, I have found the following places use the common Motorola CLS series analog UHF radios:

Cracker Barrel
Chuck E. Cheese's
Best Buy
Dick's Sporting Goods
Target
Office Max

PDF manual can be found online which lists the channels near the end. Home Depot broadcasts a part of their customer support system on 467.75, but it's mostly data bursts with a 600Hz single tone preamble. Occasionally you will hear a message similar to what's played over the in-store PA when someone presses a service button.
