I'm working down in Windsor for the next couple days, and I've been able to confirm that Caeser's is indeed MotoTRBO Connect Plus. Looks like they are using the same frequencies (for the most part) that the old Type II system used, however it looks like some of those may no longer be used. I'll log it for a while and see what turns up. Interesting to note that it's using a SYSID of 158, Site #1. System 158 is also used by Kelcom's UHF Connect Plus system in this same area. First time I've seen two systems using the same ID (and this system is also licensed to Kelcom). I'll submit my findings to the database tonight.

Thanks Forts, I noticed that too with the frequencies last time I found that they disappeared. Sad since it didn't really seem needed. They keep complaining about money and laying people off then they go and get new radios?

There's a local ham trbo system here also, not sure if you're aware of it?

Windsor-444.400 (+) This is now a Motorola Mototrbo repeater/ Color code 7, Time slot 2, Talk group 6 is local chat/ Not on DMARC yet.

You can talk on there or listen if you are able.

It's on DMR-MARC as of last week. They made an announcement on the Yahoogroup. If you want to discuss it further, please start a new thread.

One could wonder if it's error/carelessness, or the duplicate is there for a purpose; maybe
allowing the casino users access to the larger system, but not the other way?

The RR DB does allow multiple system IDs (tried it with 158). I found this way back
with Moto Type I systems, which don't transmit their complete Sys IDs over the air;
with the ambiguity we ended up with two system 1fdd's, one in Ottawa and another in Texas...

I wondered if shuttles and other vehicles that travel offsite might be using the UHF system which would rebroadcast on the internal system?

I guess it would be easily confirmed by seeing if any talkgroups showed up on both systems simultaneously.
