Has Calumet County sheriff changed there radio system? I still hear fire on 154.22, but the 155.040 is quiet for the last few days or so. I can't find any update info.

I am on the very edge of reception over here in New London, but I did hear a couple garbled transmissions with NAC 080 so I believe they are still on the air in conventional P25. The database listing shows they use encryption occasionally, so if you have a Uniden scanner it may just be ignoring the encrypted transmissions.

I live in Calumet County and have always heard them on 155.040 - NAC 080. I use Pro-Scan software to track what my BCD436 hits and since December 28th I haven't gotten, but 4-5 hits for a second each. When I pull up my iPad app for scanning, I hear Calumet there, but the app doesn't reveal the frequency they are monitoring. I've been looking for the last five days to see if there has been any changes and so far nothing has surfaced. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, that's what I found out. I had not seen the P25e used in our area. All the rest of the bigger counties and services around me are moving to sharing a Wiscom trunking system and so far they are open. Sad to hear that this small county goes to encrypted.
