Does anyone know what 461.525 is? It has a PL of 110.9.
I was hearing it in Ebensburg and Richland. I know that it's not Pennsylvania Highlands, because the use the same frequency but a PL of 162.2, and it sounded way too far away to ever be GJCTC/Vo-Tech (while I was standing at PHCC (now kinda in UPJ almost). in Richland, I doubt Vo-Tech/GJCTC would sound miles away, especially since it's only across the street really. LOL).
Speaking of Vo-Tech/GJCTC, do they ever really use their radios? I swear, I never used to really pick them up, but now I hear a bunch of PHCC traffic but no Vo-Tech traffic, or for a 40 watt radio, do you have to basically be right at the building?
I could not find any other 461.525 listing for Cambria County or Somerset County.
Indiana said a gas company but the traffic sounded like a transit company.
Blair county came up with a "Blair Senior Services", but would I probably pick them up in Richland and Ebensburg? I'm thinking this perhaps, because the traffic is really broken up and hard to hear.
EDIT: Speaking of Vo-Tech/GJCTC, what is 464.4 used for? I never hear it, I only hear 461.525, but I noticed the FCC site claims 464.4 has way more power. It has 110W instead of 40W.
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseFreqSum.jsp?licKey=1735413 - In their license, it has 464.4 listed as FB4, at 110W, but it has it as mobile as only 40W. Is it probably some kind of repeater, with a talk around perhaps?
