Can I put info into the Win96 program without the scanner connected?

I am very new at this so pardon me, if it is a vapid question..But can I enter info into the win 96 software without the scanner connected, then when done...connect scanner and load the just entered info into the scanner?

Yes you can. Just give your program a file name and save it till you upload to the scanner.
