Hello, does anybody have frequencies for the radios at Wonderland? I didn't find anything in the database.

Haha.. listening to wonderland is fun ;)

CANADA'S WONDERLAND F1 460.775
CANADA'S WONDERLAND F2 461.2000
CANADA'S WONDERLAND F3 462.4500
CANADA'S WONDERLAND F4 459.2550

If my memory serves me correctly, F1 is the security, F2 is rides/maint. F3 is ecology, F4 is rides

Something like that. F1 is the best to listen to in early April when they do their radio training with the new "wonder cops" hehe.

I have their codes and stuff laying around here somewhere... I'll see if i can find them and i'll post them here for you.

From memory:

58-'D'elta --- drugs
54-'A'lpha --- lost article/security requested
54-'B'ravo --- Officer needs assistance ASAP
52-'B'ravo --- Medical call (52 crew = wonderland cushman thing)
68 --- Inverted hand stamp
67 --- line jumpers (i think)

I hope that helps.

I remember working as a security guard at Sheridan College about 10 years ago. I had no clue about the scanner part being monitored. There are many things I wish I had not said!

I was never told what is and what not proper radio etiquette though. We had no 10 codes or protocol or anything really. You just made things up as you went a long pretty much. I hope they have corrected that since then.

... and on that note... I had the exact same experience working for HECFI (Copps Colliseum, Hamilton Place, etc.) security. They just give you a radio and that's it. No protocols, no explanations of anything. Just go here and look important and scary if need be. Wonder what their traffic is like now. Prob the same no doubt.

Just curious, what's the range on their transmissions?

Well, I'm out here by the york/durham line, North of Stouffville road, and sometimes during the summer I can get them on my BCT8 with the wire antenna thing. Now I have a few more antennas so hopefully it'll be better.

I've been up in Newmarket as well, and I"ve been able to pick'em up

And yeah, I guess I shouldnt make fun, but they do have good radio training.

Actually, quite good into NW Toronto.
Just a point about F 4 . I hear them on 454.225 rather than 459...
