• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Canadian County Pafford EMS

Dec 19, 2002
Wichita Falls, TX
The db shows Pafford EMS in Canadian County using a DMR repeater on 155.94 with a license that belongs to the city of El Reno that expired in 2013.

This morning I heard somebody tone out medic units to addresses in El Reno on 153.635 DCS 712 which isn't in the db.
The repeater has a CW ID that matches https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?fccCallsign=WRDC920.
Somebody locally needs to verify and submit any corrections.

They were suppose to be using the old mercy dmr channel for El Reno with other areas of their coverage using analog. Ill try to check and confirm when I get a chance. There is a thread on this already too.
