Card access error

I got this radio back in July and had no problem's until last month.. One day I got the access card error so I slipped the SD card in and out a few times and it started working fine for about 3 weeks. Than last week it does it to me agene so I slipped it in and out a few times with no luck. So I go get a new SD card format it install it and clear user data load every thing up starts to scan than will start to freeze up. so I turn it off and back on and all I get is the screen flashing on and off. I go back in and clear user data agene and it works fine for a day and than it freezes up so I turn it off and back on and get the flashing screen. When I bought the new SD card it was a 32gb any help would be welcome.. Thanks in advance..

Have you tried re-formatting it with your PC?

Not sure. It seems the 536 has had it's share of dead MicroSD cards. Initially I was thinking maybe Uniden bought a bad batch. But maybe the radio is doing something to them, or just a bad card socket?

The supplied card in mine, and my buddies 536 died within a couple weeks.

the one that came with mine when I tried putting it into my tablet it would not recognize it.. it would not even let me format it on my pc so I know it was bad. But the 2nd one will let me format it both in and out of the scanner and after reformat and reloading every it will work like I said for a day than freeze up and have to do it all over agene. I am going to try and get a different SD Card and see what happens

Problem solved... What are the chances of 3 new SD cards going bad ? Well I went out and spent 15 bucks on a 16gb card and works just fine now.. Thanks for the help.
