I hear EMS units get dispatched by "Central" in Carlsbad, but I don't receive any of the transmissions from the dispatched units. There was a time when EMS traffic could be received. Does anyone know how that is being handled now?

They may have changed the current listed to a input and added a new output. Try searching in your scanner. I also know some are testing p25, encryption out in various places which indeed is going to hit southern NM pretty hard within the next year or two in places for police, some fire/ems depending where you're at.

Full-encryption isn't far away from C-Bad - Hobbs/Lea-County have been for a little while now. But honestly, it's likely best to search for a while. You'll likely find all sorts of new stuff in that region.
They had changed freqs while back then had it low power repeater at one point. Last I knew they were suppose to change the output again, but keep in mind eddy has been playing with p25 also on some channels.
