It appears that this system is now on the air.
Last week I noticed every 60 seconds there is a 4 second data burst on 155.775 which is the Stephenville site FCC Callsign WQMY741 Details

I used to listen to them all the time and got a hoot out of hearing that one with the cartoon voice say, "One Sixty Three 'Cleer'".

Can I listen to them in Abilene, and if so what frequencies?

Never mind I was too lazy to follow a link it looks like 154.385 is for Taylor CO. Anybody in this area hear anything yet?

I'm wondering that too, tj20. Good question.

I put 154.3850 on where CARR should be for here, what was the old Abilene Fire channel, but not a word heard.

I was in the area today heard some comms on 155.145 that may be heard in Abilene & 155.835 also had comms from the old freqs. In the Rising Star area 155,565 sounded like chain saw & my PSR500 was unale to decde any format on that freq. It appears they expnded there service area & needed more repeaters to cover the area.

Going off subject, I can hardly get this site to download or even work. I'm just poking the sap out of F5 to get things to come on the screen. I hope THIS posts.

I was in the rolling plains area about two weeks ago and appears CARR has abandoned their old system & moved ALL communications to the motrbo.Nothing in the clear.

Good band opening this morning. I'm picking up parts of this system for the first time in several years. I didn't have DSD+ before I moved.
