I've been trying to source a President Mckinley SSB radio from Canada, and have found it very frustrating.

(SSB is already a challenge to find with very few choices)

Any deals you find on EBAY, or online, either won't ship to Canada, charge $60+ for shipping, or use UPS (which as many Canadians know rips you off when its delivered).

I've seen prices for these radios around $189 or $199.. some charge $15 or $30 to "pro-tune" them.

I can't find any Canadian sellers of these radios.

Has anyone seen these radios listed by Canadian online stores?

Check for a parcel service in Bellingham.

There are places near the border that specialize in receiving US parcels for Canadians. You use their address when ordering and then go down and pick up your package when it arrives. (I use a service south of me in North Dakota occasionally for US outfits that won't ship across the border).

They charge 2 bucks for packages less than 10 lbs. Then there's the cost of gas to drive there and back, and of course the sales tax they hit you with at the border. As a downside, warranty can be a problem when you have to ship back and forth for repairs. I haven't had to yet.

If you use a credit card to order, you'll need to contact your bank and have them add the parcel service's address as a second address (shipping address).

Yes.. thank you. There is also another dealer in North Van (Jack at Ready2TalkPA), so that is two places that can help source the Mckinley SSB. (I'd always prefer to support local businesses so this is good).

We'll end up with both the Bearcat 980 and Mckinley (both SSB). There are some good videos on both models on youtube.
