What frequencies are they using now? I know search "Google or scan the VHF band on my scanner" I know they use a few frequencies around here where I live in Central Georgia. What other frequencies are they using? I'm currently updating my programming file for my Uniden 536HP scanner.

Edit...I already have the frequencies listed on the MT-Fed files website.

Please no back and forth with everyone let this topic stay on point please.

Most Federal Agencies [Not all, but Most] are conventional

IF you want to go the One Freq TRS route, to capture Radio ID's - fine,
but all that is needed is basic program entry as P25

Should these frequencies be programmed as a trunk system or P25 one channel?

I think the easiest way is to use MENU, Location, Zip Code, Radius (set to 2.0 miles), then turn off all Services except for Federal. Connect to a PC using ARC536 or ProScan logging and let it run 24/7 for a few days and let it do all the work, no guessing! Works great!

a Freq or NAC Alone do not identify the agency.
Sometimes even the NAC/FREQ can help, but not always

What part of GA was this heard from...

167 NAC is usually FBI.

On R/R Federal NAC codes listing it shows different users that is why I checked Chris website

NAC 167

Could be, found an ancient archive list and [Pre-P25] it indicates 171.7750 for this site

That is what I found as well.

I'm picking up 173.100 NFM NAC 167 FBI? Encrypted.

CBP AIR ONE 168.8375 NAC 293 NFM

Just FYI, the DEA and FBI are both part of the Department of Justice. Since the DEA is moving towards VHF everywhere, some of the frequencies they are using have come from various DoJ assignment pools of frequencies that can include those used in some ares by the FBI.
