Turns out I am going to this. Can you pick up most of the Denver area DTR stuff from Castle Rock? How about Colo. Spgs.?

May try to do some scanning Tues. night while at the motel. Thanks.

DTR will be quite audible from there, and you should be able to hear the El Paso County "Stanley Canyon" site from Castle Rock. It's a pretty busy site, so you should hear quite a bit of traffic on it. It's all going to depend on where in Castle Rock you'll be.

Is this open to just anyone, or do you have to be a muckety-muck of some type?

In years past it has been mostly those who use the CO DTRS system (admins, comms folks, etc.) but also some from non-DTRS metro agencies as well.

I don't think they are checking IDs at the door
