Alright, I’m just starting to diagnose the issue but figured I’d enlist some help. What we are looking at is a vehicle repeater utilizing two CDM series radios on VHF and Low Band and an OEM Motorola Rick.
The problem is whenever you talk on the vhf portable through the repeater to low band there is a “cycling” issue every 2-3 seconds with a brief click. Looking at the radios neither one is visible in creating the issue. The low band has already been swapped with no change in the issue. It does not do it talking low band to vhf though. The vhf radio is next to be swapped but it is buried in the truck.
First thought is maybe receive sensitivity is off on the vhf radio? But band split being far enough apart I would think wouldn’t cause and issue there. Any suggestions?
