Both freqs shown for the Central City PD are listed as mobiles (and FB's)... you might try them without tones entered and see if CCPD talks there.... also you might try the other city freqs without tones... plug in 155.47500 as well, many cities in Kentucky use that as an extra talk around/tac, etc. If you find it let us know!
thanx

Thanks for your help, I have found some new freqs for CCPD and Greenville PD that's not listed. 154.765 is CCPD, 155.955 is Greenville. Also a new Sheriff freq is 154.975. By the way I've just started monitoring with a Uniden BC92XLT and I have a few questions. First, will my scanner leave out tones? Second, what is all the morris code sounds about I hear on police freqs? Third, my county is still analog, would a non trunking digital scanner be wise for KSP monitoring for a few more years?

the MC you are hearing is the repeater ID'ing, which is an FCC requirement
a new or used Pro 96 would be perfect untill something new comes out

I have 1 last question. My uncle is police affliated and has a ht1250 with all county freqs including tac2, that I've been playing with today. But when they switch over to tac2 the voices still sound scrambled. Does anyone know why this would be and would a digital scanner make any difference?

I can help you with that question. You have a standard voice scrambler, and a rolling code scrambler. Depending on the channel and settings, the channel might not be set to decode the scrambled channel. So that might be why you can't understand the conversation.

Just one more thing, the SO is the only ones I know of in Muhlenberg County with the HT1250... what are you doing playing with it???

Searchrescueff, you hit the nail on the head, when you said the only one's you know.
But to not be a bigger prick, I'll throw you a bone. The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force used some of the grant money about 8 months ago to buy Muhlenburg county radios.
My uncle is heavily affliated with them is how, and why he has one. Since my post I also
found out that only the sheriff has a scrambler in his portable, CCPD doesn't either. Not
enough grant money I guess. Now a few questions for you what brand of radios does the CCPD have, and what kind of rolling code encryption? If you know.

Well, not to carry on this sensless conversation, but I will indulge your request of what the CCPD carry.

The CCPD carry Icom IC-F14 portable radios. 16 channels, no display. And yes, they do have rolling code scramblers. Now, in their cars they have the Icom IC-F521 mobile radios, and yes, they also have the rolling code scramblers. How do I know this, well let's just say I have a few friends with the CCPD and I also know the radio dealer they purchased their radios from. Oh, my screen name should have clued you as to how I know. I hope that answers your question.

Never said I was playing with tac, I said the Ht1250 didn't recieve tac. I thought the radio
was pretty cool, for the little time I messed with it. I was just curious why it had those channels if it couldn't get them. I use a Bearcat scanner so it doesn't matter what kind of scrambling they use, I couldn't here them, lol.

Sometimes scrambled frequencies will be installed on a radio where they can't communicate scrambled. One of those reasons would be so the other agency can manually turn off the scrambler to communicate with others who don't have the scrambler board.
