Does anyone know has Amherst/Bedford/Lynchburg changed anything about their trunked radio system that would make it so that a Radioshack Pro-2096 could not monitor it? I programmed a scanner for gentlemen that takes his scanners down to the Amherst and Bedford Area and he his telling me that he didn't hear anything. I programmed it in as three separate EDACS Banks (one for bedford, one for amherst and one for lynchburg) making sure I used LCN channel numbering and talkgroup numbering. Am I doing something wrong?

A common mistake on the PRO-96/2096 is to make the LCN #'s match exactly. (Ch-201 is LCN#1, 202 is LCN#2, etc.) In reality, Ch.200 should be LCN#1, 201 should be LCN#2, etc. I made this mistake the first time i tried to program the system.

This I never knew. I had a PRO-2055 and it did not have that problem. LCN #1 would've been 201 in that scanner, unlike the 2096.
