I feel bad because I live here in Las Vegas and I stupidly forgot to register for free exhibit passes to CES (had to do that before January 2nd or it magically became $200 for the same thing) and I can't attend a show only 2-3 miles away. :(

But I can't find anything relevant online at this point, so I'm curious if anyone knows about anything Uniden might be unveiling or already unveiled. Latest press release is from the 3rd and that's about phone stuff. I'm starting to think they may not have anything scanner related, and might put off new intros till the Dayton Hamfest or some other event this year.

Anyone... anyone... Bueller... Bueller... ;)

2 to 3 miles you should be able to pick up all sorts of interesting radio traffic from CES. Maybe even video feeds.:p

That would be true if I had a scanner to pick that stuff up anymore. Well, technically I do since I have this BC-700A sitting here, but it's tapped and does Unitrunker tracking duty most of the time. I sold my Pro-97 to buy a BC-246T from another member here in the For Sale forum just yesterday, now waiting for the payment to get to him so he can get the 246T to me and I can get back in the swing of things... man I hate being without a proper trunking scanner. :p

Uniden didn't have anything new...

I checked out the Uniden booth on Monday at CES. Only thing I notice was the BCT396 had the wrong AC cable plugged in with the error message on the screen ;-) and PAUL wasn't around at the time.

All the Uniden scanners was setup nicely on a long table. Where everyone could see them.
