Change of account name

How can I change my account name from sshermanmd (my profession) to my ham call sign AA6IO. If I do this, will all my previous posts (about 1400) be referenced to my old name, which I want, or would it set recount to zero. Looked through my profile but did not see way to change this. Thanks for info.
