Hello,

I was over in Napa last night, and I noticed that Napa SO dispatch is still on Napa SO Tac, not Napa RED where they were until sometime last year. Not new info or really surprising, but wondering if they are going to stay there.

The real surprise for me was that Napa PD was dispatching on Napa PD BLUE. I had not heard that before.

Has the SO and PD split up the unified dispatch system and reverted to their own channels? If so, what happened? Any insight from Napa locals?

Thanks!

David

My understanding was that Napa RED was converted to simulcast first, they began using that as their primary, and then at some point 155.430 was also converted to simulcast. However, 155.430 has always retained the name "SO Primary" so maybe they are going to stay there now. I'm thinking the DB should probably be updated, but I'd also love to hear from someone with some inside knowledge.
