We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Down in Charleston for a couple days on Spring Break...was wondering if anyone knew of a list available of the 10-codes used on the Charleston City/County systems? Thanks!

The Charleston City Police don't use codes anymore; they use plain speak and the County Sheriff's Office is half and half. They use them sometimes, and sometimes they don't.

On a related note. Does anyone have a Charleston City/County mem file for ARC396? I'm planning a trip down there in August and would like to bring my scanner along.
