Attached file has some missing code information, original info came from the totse.com site. I have heard officers use some of the missing coded (10-39 and 10-40) but cannot figure out what they are.

Thanks for any help. File is formatted to print on 1 sheet so it is easier to read.

Missing Codes

10-51 Wrecker needed
10-52 Accident w/injury (not used)
10-75 Drug Activity
10-97 Mental Subject

CMPD is moving toward the "plain language" radio traffic, so most of the 10-codes will be disappearing over the next several years. It is hard to break old habits, so many officers will still use the codes.

I have an old copy of the CMPD 10-codes (that was originally typed on a typewriter i believe) at home. I'll compare it and fill in what i can later.

keep in mind this is circa 1988, before the merger with Mecklenburg Co. Police Dept. I don't listen to CMPD much, so not sure if all are accurate.
