CharMek TGID 9136 is this new ?

I just fired up IDTracker along with my 780 in search mode and am gathering as many ID's as possible since weekend evenings are good for Public Safety and light on the "other stuff".

I hear some LE on 9136 and the RR database does not seem to show anything for that. Does someone have the 411 on that ID ?

South Division was reportedly using the talkgroup for dispatching earlier in the year.

At one time, it was an investigators' talkgroup.

Looks like the investigators are using it again or maybe a special team, possibly a gang or local crime task force. I kept an ear on it till' about 01:30 and it was quite busy taking 320 hits between 10:30 pm and 9am. Actually the most number of hits during that time in search mode, 26160 Huntersville/Davidson was a close second at 301 hits.

I found a really neat program called ID Tracker that works great on the laptop. Good way to expand TG tags if you have a PC handy and to do searches/stats on new ID's. Another benifit is that the display can be streched out quite a bit so the ID tag is easy to see on the laptop even without my glasses.

9136 is currently South Division Dispatch, has been for the last few days.

South Division uses 9136, 8720, and 9168 for dispatch. Most often they are on 8720 or 9168. I have no idea why it changes. I keep all three loaded.

Thanks Scott for the info, I will update my list. I was listening to it on and off last night and it sure was busy but it did not seem to be dispatch since a lot of the traffic seemed to be specific, not something you would hear on "main". I'll keep a close ear on it tonight.

Keep in mind that Steele Creek division is often patched with South. You'll hear 21 & 22 division units dispatched on the South talkgroup.
