Chatham Twp. FD just put out a test page and stated that they will be getting pagers reprogrammed and will have a training drill in which they will go over the new radio plan. Possibly switching over to the county trunk system?

But pagers don't trunk. They can still use them to tone out and then rely on the trunked system for operations and interoperability.

I have yet to find anything in the FCC database. Does that mean the PD is abandoning their UHF frequency?

It would be a new presidence for the PD to stay and the FD to go to the county.

You are correct as the New Vernon (Harding) FD's have switched to the new TRS for operations and have switched to 151.055 for dispatch and a VHF fireground of 155.940 (103.5) for a fireground once they arrive on scene and switch off the digital TRS MIRS talkgroup.

Is there a PL on the dispatch channel?

Ken this is the old County DPW channel before the MIRS went online. It has very good coverage.

I wonder if this will be the high band paging frequency for those VHF High towns that convert?

Let's say, for instance, should Washington Twp switch to the county.
