Newly located to Poweshiek Co. Here's what I've been able to figure out so far and would appreciate confirmation.

132.8 - the low sector frequency for most of the area east of DSM.
125.575 - the high sector frequency for most of the area south of I-80 and east of DSM.
132.725 - high altitude sector of Minneapolis center from just east of DSM and west.
128.525 - high altitude sector in the Quad Cities area.
123.9 - DSM approach from the east.

So basically, any high altitude traffic coming out of Chicago or points east will pop up on 128.525, then 125.575, then 132.725. Sound about right?

I have taken hits on 127.775 but it seems to be mostly north-south traffic over Cedar Rapids and eastern Iowa.

Anyone have any idea where 132.625 and 125.225 are in use?

Anyone have any idea which frequencies aircraft work that are north of I-80 and headed east or west at high altitude?

Thanks!

Do you have the aviation pdfs that carma has on their site? Might help out. CARMAChicagoMcom. Click on profiles links. I have just re-did my midwest atc systems with the info of here and been hearing more. Actually too much I will have to figure what to cut down on.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

I do now, Michael! Thanks for the tip! Those maps at the end of CARMA's Chicago center profile are exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much.

It's possible that frequency is used by another center. I'm pretty close to the intersection of Chicago, Minneapolis and Kansas City centers so sorting it all out will take me some time. Now that I have Chicago center pretty well firmed up, I'll start trying to piece together the frequencies for the surrounding centers.
